Position: Technical Support Representative
Location: Cerritos, California
Responsibilities
Technical Support DETERMINE SOURCE OF USER CONCERN and instruct customers by answering questions; interpreting operating instructions; providing references.
DETERMINE SOURCE OF USER ERROR by reviewing procedures and actions taken by user; instructing user to perform diagnostic procedures.
RESOLVE PROBLEMS by issuing corrective instructions; consulting with coworkers and vendors.
EVALUATE AND AUTHORIZE RMAs by reviewing RMA Request forms, researching the order specifics, troubleshooting the nature of the problem with customer and making determination whether the Request meets company guidelines. Issue RMAs as appropriate.
Customer Support
SUPPORT EXISTING ACCOUNTS, OBTAIN ORDERS, AND ESTABLISH NEW ACCOUNTS by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing accounts; establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects.
MAINTAIN RELATIONSHIPS WITH DEALERS by providing support, information, and guidance; research and recommend new product opportunities.
PROCESS ORDERS by inbound and outbound phone calls, email and facsimile; verify and make necessary changes on order; update MAS200 and ACT Customer file; edit for price and warehouse instructions.
Ready Team Support
SHIPPING & RECEIVING act as primary backup in warehouse as needed; accepting and receiving incoming shipments; picking, packing and entering shipping data for outbound shipments and “Will Calls” into MAS200.
MAINTAIN PROFESSIONAL AND TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE by reviewing professional publications.
CONTRIBUTE TO TEAM EFFORT by effective communication of industry developments, customer needs and other pertinent information through structured and unstructured discussions; accomplishing related tasks as needed.
MAINTAIN CLIENT CONFIDENCE AND PROTECT COMPANY OPERATIONS by keeping information confidential.
KEEP MANAGEMENT INFORMED by submitting activity and results reports as requested, such as daily call reports and weekly work plans.
DEMONSTRATE LEADERSHIP through the use of good judgment, providing guidance to fellow team members, mentoring and training others at every opportunity, and positively influencing the experience of all company employees.
